Great Home Pro takes insurance, safety, and documentation seriously. Our goal is to make it easy for you to say “yes” to working with us—and easy to answer owner questions about who is in their home.

Insurance Coverage Overview

We maintain business insurance appropriate for turnover and make-ready work. Coverage details can be shared with property managers, apartment communities, and ownership groups upon request.

  • Active business liability coverage (limits available upon request)
  • Coverage designed for cleaning, painting, carpet care & small repairs
  • Ability to provide Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to approved partners

Note: If your property or community has specific insurance requirements, share them with us and we’ll confirm whether we can meet those standards.

For property managers, apartment communities, and brokerages, we can provide:

  • Certificate of Insurance (COI)
  • W-9 for accounting / vendor setup
  • Basic company information for vendor onboarding forms
  • Any additional forms required by your internal process (as reasonable)

Safety, Access & Onsite Conduct

We understand that we are working in people’s homes and communities, often on your behalf. How we show up matters—for safety, liability, and your reputation.

Property & Community Rules

  • We respect building rules, quiet hours, and parking requirements
  • We follow reasonable lockbox, key, and access procedures
  • We do not allow unauthorized guests or extra people onsite
  • We keep common areas clear of debris and tools as we work

Onsite Behavior Standards

  • Professional conduct around residents, staff, and neighbors
  • No smoking, drugs, or alcohol onsite
  • No sharing of gate codes, lockbox codes, or keys
  • Photos are used only for job documentation, not for public posting

Vendors, Teams & Compliance Expectations

In addition to our own policies, we expect our partner vendors to meet similar standards so you receive consistent, professional service.

Vendor Requirements

  • Active business insurance (where applicable)
  • Reliable communication by phone and text
  • Willingness to follow Great Home Pro scopes and checklists
  • Before & after photos for every job completed

Quality & Compliance Checks

  • Random quality checks on completed units
  • Photo-based review of work before final approval
  • Vendor performance tracked over time
  • Vendors who do not meet standards are not kept on future jobs
Reporting Issues & Handling Damages

If a concern comes up—whether it’s a missed item, damage, or a safety issue—we want to hear about it quickly so we can address it.

We encourage property managers and onsite staff to send:

  • Photos of the issue
  • A brief description of what was expected vs. what was found
  • Any deadlines connected to move-in, showings, or inspections

Our goal is to correct legitimate issues promptly and transparently, with minimal disruption to your schedule and residents.
